The UK Prime Minister plans to press supporting countries to deliver Ukrainian forces with additional long-range missiles to target Moscow's positions during a meeting in the UK capital on the upcoming Friday.

The prime minister is set to welcome Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky alongside referred to as "group of committed partners", comprising over twenty of supporting nations who have pledged to provide Kyiv security guarantees once a ceasefire is brokered.

Zelensky has been urging for weeks for more advanced missile technology from the West, an action that the Russian government has stated would intensify the war.

President Zelensky is travelling from Brussels, where he conferred with European Union officials on the previous day requesting financial support.

The Prime Minister will encourage delegates to expand the supply of long-range weapons following a successful operation on a manufacturing site in the Russian city, the Russian Federation, using British-supplied advanced weaponry.
